DNA Paternity Testing
DNA Paternity Testing

There are times when you gotta be sure. For instance who is the father of a particular child. And if you are sure you aren't or you are sure you are either way you might have to prove it. The best way to render proof of parentage is through DNA paternity testing.
DNA paternity testing is conducted to determine if a certain male is or is not the biological father of a child. The testing uses the DNA of the potential male father and the child. If possible, the DNA of the mother, if known, should also be included in the DNA paternity testing.
There are different DNA paternity testing levels performed. One is a self-collection test where you obtain the DNA samples from the father, child and mother in the comfort of home or another location. A swab of the inside of the cheek is usually enough material for testing. Because a "chain of custody" cannot be established through home testing, the results of the home DNA paternity testing are not legal for admission into a court of law.
Sometimes during a pregnancy, it becomes necessary to do DNA paternity testing to establish the father of the child. Using our Prenatal Paternity Test is your best option for such cases. If you are pregnant and would like to establish the child's paternity before the baby is born, you may want to consider obtaining a test. DNA paternity testing in the pre-natal stage compares DNA samples from the mother, alleged father and unborn baby to determine the parentage. This test can be performed between the 9th and 16th week of pregnancy.
A legal DNA paternity testing determining the father is a bit more structured. If you need a paternity test for legal purposes, such as divorce, child custody, or child support proceedings, arrangements will have to be made to have your samples taken at an accredited nationwide collection facility.
